In May 2002, the church opened and dedicated the Gladys Coppedge Woodley Resource Library in the space adjacent to the Sanctuary. The Library currently includes more than 1,000 books, tapes and records focused on religious, African and African American Interests. A substantial number of the books are specifically geared towards the enlightenment of youth.
The painting, a portion of which is shown above, was inspired by the development of the library and painted by ElJay McBride. The original can be found in Sanctuary's Library.
